I enjoyed the she crab very much. It was delightful. First time here. The shrimp tacos were amazing. Clarissa was our waitress and recommended the mashed potatoes. She said they were her favorite . I definitely agreed with her they were slamming with flavor . I also ordered the angus steak with shrimp and another order of mashed potatoes to go with a side Caesar salad . Definitely will be back to try more food on the menu. Oh boy did I overdo it. Sleepiness took over quickly

I had lunch there yesterday with my niece, sister and sister-in-law. It was awesome like always! The food and service were great! I highly recommend the Village Grill!!
Another Great Meal at Village Tavern! Village Tavern is my favorite restaurant and I have reviewed it a number of times. I won't go into great detail today... I got my usual crab cake but switched up the sides. As sides, I ordered fresh sautéed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes. The spinach was delicious and I will definitely order it in future. The potatoes were not a favorite. They tasted like instant. The manager came out and stopped by each table. My husband asked if the potatoes were instant, and she said, "definitely not". She went on to tell him she'd take him to the kitchen to see, and they had someone constantly peeling potatoes. Regardless, they taste powdery. Our service was very good. The atmosphere is very nice. It's a great place to dine with family or friends.
Very nice restaurant in Burlington NC. A bit of trouble with parking, but we were meeting a friend we had not seen in quite some time. A nice lunch, not super memorable (we were focused on our friend), but definitely enjoyable. I'd go again.
We met a life long friend at this wonderful restaurant. I enjoyed their Caesar salad with ahi tuna. It was wonderful!
Vintage ambiance felt cozy and perfect for a long brunch with girlfriends. Our server was very pleasant and just the right amount of attention was given. I started off with One Hot Bloody Mary and it was the perfect balance of refreshing and spicy. I would've enjoyed more than one were it not for the drive home. I enjoyed the shrimp tacos. They did not disappoint, they were good although nothing extraordinary to note. According to my friend, the local, so is everything else on the menu. All in all, I would say it's a solid choice where everyone would have something they enjoyed served with a smile.
Great restaurant that stays busy, which is a testament to the delicious food and great wait staff they have there! The parking lot is a bit small so there can be a challenge finding parking. The rolls and butter are delicious but I recommend you ask for the oil and spices to dip the bread in! (They won't bring it unless you ask specifically for it) Quality food with excellent taste! I highly recommend the lime and cilantro salmon. (I had the lunch cut)
